Trig’s Smokehouse

The bratwurst is produced locally in the Trig’s Smokehouse in Rhinelander. The Trig’s Smokehouse prepares a wide variety of smoked meats in a natural wood smokehouse. Each Trig’s store has bratwurst, lean smoked bacon, summer sausage, beef sticks, black forest ham, and many other smoked delicacies fresh from the Smokehouse. The Smokehouse is also available to process venison for hunters.

Johnsonville Sausage

Johnsonville Sausage L.L.C. is a leading manufacturer of bratwurst, dinner sausage, and breakfast sausage. The company sells its products nationwide through retail outlets and to food processors, institutional customers, and food services. Johnsonville bratwurst (brats) are the official brats of Lambeau Field, home field of Wisconsin's Green Bay Packers, and the brand is also sold seasonally at more than 4,000 McDonald's restaurants. The company has plants in Johnsonville, Sheboygan Falls, and Watertown, Wisconsin, and in Momence, Illinois. The company is owned and run by members of the Stayer family. Johnsonville achieved national prominence in the 1990s for its unique management style.

Festival Foods, a family-owned company operating stores strategically throughout Wisconsin, was founded as Skogen’s IGA by Paul and Jane Skogen in 1946 in Onalaska, Wisconsin. With only five hundred dollars of borrowed money and a lot of enthusiasm, Paul and Jane began the company which now operates 14 full-service, state-of-the art, supermarkets and employs over 3500 full and part-time associates. Zuber's Sausage Kitchen was started in 1991 by Jim Zuber after working for 15 years under Master Sausage makers here in southern Wisconsin. With his experience and his taste for good sausage Zuber's Sausage Kitchen was started in Monroe, WI.

The Zuber's Original Landjaeger (Landjäger) has Jim's personal blend of spices and seasonings along with the best cuts of Beef and Pork he can find. The familiar Zuber's display case can be found at over 200 retailers throughout southern Wisconsin. Zuber's also sells its beef sticks and cheese sticks at retailers throughout southern Wisconsin.
